Helston Chamber Choir meets every Thursday from 7.00pm – 9.00pm in:

We are a mixed-voice choir, singing a wide variety of mainly classical repertoire from all eras, and in different languages. We do not hold auditions, but welcome new potential members to come and see if we are a good fit for two weeks before committing to join us. At no cost to members, we have a choir subscription to the John Fletcher rehearsal files website for those who find them helpful for learning new repertoire.
Our year consists of three terms, 10-13 weeks long with a break in July/August, culminating in three concerts usually in November, March and June. We perform in the fantastic acoustics of St. Michael’s Church, Helston, and are often invited to join Truro Choral Society in Truro Cathedral and other local choir events throughout the year.

The cost per term is £50 for new members in their first term and then £60 after that.
Music scores are provided, and members may have the option of purchasing their own copies.
We are affiliated to Making Music, and administered by an annually elected committee at our Annual General Meeting.
The choir is a Registered Charity No: 1116483, and tax-paying members are encouraged to sign a Gift Aid Declaration on their subscriptions, which significantly boosts the choir’s funds. We have also received funding from Helston Town Council.
