Welcome!

We are a friendly mixed voice choir. We are united by our love of great music and the feeling of wellbeing that singing together brings. Our repertoire is from a wide range of periods, styles and languages. As one of our members said: “When I started, I had some preconceptions of a choir being formal but I soon realised that it brings joy and camaraderie with social friendships within our choir “family” which are so rewarding”

Sat 14th November 4.30pm and 7.30pm, St Michael's Church: Karl Jenkins-A Mass for Peace.

One of the most powerful and moving choral works of our time. Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace has captured hearts across the world. Voted the nation’s favourite classical work in the Classic FM Hall of Fame this year. Blending texts from different cultures and traditions, this compelling masterpiece takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through the horrors of war to a final message of hope and peace. From the haunting call to prayer to the soaring beauty of the Benedictus, The Armed Man is both deeply moving and profoundly uplifting, a concert that resonates as powerfully today as at its premiere in 2000.

Experience the magic of Christmas by candlelight. Let the sound of voices and harp transport you in a stunning festive concert featuring Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, Ešenvalds’ Stars, Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium, and Chilcott’s On Christmas Night. With harp arrangements by Graham Fitkin and a special appearance by internationally renowned harpist, Ruth Wall, this will be an unforgettable evening of music, light and seasonal joy.
