Helston Chamber Choir continues to grow from strength to strength with exciting concert programmes drawing full houses, standing ovations and first-class reviews. Our highly praised performances of Mozart Requiem and Bach The St Matthew Passion sold out a week in advance, prompting us to consider how to ensure our loyal supporters always get a good seat. We are therefore delighted to launch the Helston Chamber Choir Friends Scheme, offering priority booking, reserved seats and the opportunity to support and engage more closely with this special local choral community.

On November 14th we will be performing The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace composed in 1999 by Sir Karl Jenkins which was voted No 1 in the Classic FM Hall of Fame in April this year. We expect that this concert will sell so well that we are performing it twice on the same day. Our Christmas candlelit concert on Thursday 17th December features internationally renowned harpist, Ruth Wall, so we expect a packed audience for that performance too.

The Friends Scheme will enable our followers to show their support through an annual subscription. This support will help us to expand our artistic reach, maintain high performance standards, strengthen community engagement and improve communication through regular updates on the choir, concerts and local arts events.

A friend’s subscription is £20 per year for an individual and £30 for a couple or family with children under the age of 18. Your subscription can start at any time through the year and will last for a twelve month period. Additional donations are always welcome, which you can add when you are purchasing. You will be asked if you would like to be featured in the concert programme when you purchase.
