St Matthew Passion Rehearsals

Both choirs will be singing in the whole choir non cut choruses. Those who are sitting on the left of the church as we look towards the organ are choir 1 and those who are sitting on the right are choir 2. Except for p99-110 where we swap.

Here are the rehearsal details for the rest of the term:

Many thanks for Saturday’s terrific singing! After this week we will have covered everything that we shall be singing in the concert.

Please see revised guide v3:

-HCC and PCS all sing in all Choir pieces as Ch 1 or 2 as per score guidance.

–No 29 “O mensch, bewein” is now cut from H bar 40 to 96.

–Choir 1 and 2 swap in “sind Blitsche, sind Donner“
